A car was covered to the roof last week by a flood at the Caaso bus stop in Lagos, Nigeria.
The car couldn’t move again and I believe those inside must have moved out of the car, else they should be dead already.
But you know, the car would have been dealt such serious damage by the flood that only the owner would know the cost of that damage even though the occurrence could have been avoided.
But who would you blame for this bad event?
The rain?
The government that neglected to repair the road and construct a drainage system.
Or the car owner and other vehicles that decided to be on the road when the rain was falling?
Now you can blame whoever, but isn’t this how many couples neglect the warning signs in their marriages and then find someone to blame when the marriage finally collapses?
Are you blaming your spouse for the great expectations you are not getting in your marriage or for how badly behaved your spouse maybe?
What do you think will happen if a marriage fails?
The couple will be known by neighbours and families as divorcees…
The young children would be without either of their parents and suffer mentally for it…
