In my final year,I hurriedly got engaged to a young graduate working in an oil company in Port Harcourt. He never came to visit me here in U.I I was always the one risking my life to spend time with him whenever we had a break. By the time I paid him a second visit, we began to sleep together. H told me sex was the only proof to show that I really loved him. He also said if I was going to marry him , I should submit my body to him. Like a mule, I fell for it and I gave him my virginity. Before I finished my youth service, his company sent him abroad for a course. That was the end of the affair. H e never even called me. I was shocked to my marrows. I almost lost my mind. I later found out that he came to Nigeria to marry. When I cried to God, the Holy Spirit rebuked me sorely. He said , you ate the forbidden fruit and so I cast you out of Eden. It took me time to forgive him but I found out, the more I was bitter the more I blocked the forgiveness of God. If you are born-again and you stillengage in premarital-sex, God will put a mark of disfavor on your head. The same man who dis-virgined you willturn to hate you and discard you.
