Deliverance is a way of escape out of serious predicament or terrible and an overpowering situation. When one is delivered he or she is set free and becomes a victor having been a victim of powers or circumstances. From experience while having interactions with people, Christians generally when proferring solution to a problem always proffer deliverance as a way out without reference to other vital solutions.
Please, note that this write up is not intended to play down the importance of deliverance as a tool in the hand of the Almighty God. God’s deliverance from  problems, powers and the likes is still as potent as ever and we believe in His Power. Obadiah. 1:17
On the other hand, men generally when going through a financial trying times tend to crave for deliverance as the only viable means while they remain as frugal and wasteful as ever. In most cases, what you need is not deliverance but financial discipline.
Financial discipline is a tool to apply most especially during this economic crisis in our society. Why do you need to buy a new phone when the one you have is working perfectly? Why do you need to keep buying clothes and shoes that you don’t necessarily need? Unfortunately, you need to visit the homes of average people that complain about their finances. You will be surprised the amount of food wastages that they throw into the waste bin every morning. Yes, you said that small food that John could not finish? Calculate all the wastages you throw away every morning, and then you will be surprised at the end of every month they are substantial.

In John 6: 11-13, after Jesus fed the multitude with five loaves of bread and two fish, after they were filled he ordered that they should gather the remaining that nothing be wasted. To the disciples, the small crumbles here and there didn’t matter again because as at then; they were already overwhelmed with the miracle of bread and fish. Yet, to the Master; wastage is not allowed in the kingdom. God is not a God of waster; He does His things meticulously and purposely. I thought like the disciples that why gather the remaining when all were already filed and satisfied. Lo and behold, twelve full baskets were gathered thereafter. Some theologians say the twelve baskets were given to the boy that sowed his launch that day. Whether it was the boy or not, we know for sure that they gave it to someone.  Do you know that twelve baskets of fish released by God into a life alone is a great breakthrough? Likewise, the Master wants us to be disciplined most importantly during this period. Prioritize your purchases and go for only those things that are needed. Remember, human wants are insatiable and God promised to supply all our needs (not our wants and desires) according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19
Be Disciplined.
