THE POWER OF DETERMINATION

To manage money effectively in marriage you need the power of determination.
“THE BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS IS NOT CEREAL, IT IS PROBLEMS.
If you must succeed, then you must be determined. If you are not determines, then you have determined to fail already. Make up your mind from the outset. Realize that nothing comes easily. The breakfast of champions is not cereal; it is problem.
Determine that if success does not come in the first trial, you will try again and again. Don’t allow a problem to make you think you cannot make it. Please do try again.
The first man to climb Mount Everest failed many times, but he was determined. He was honoured for trying but that did not satisfy him. He looked at the picture of Mount Everest and said, ‘You conquer me today but I will conquered you tomorrow”. And he did!
Be determined to win the match, even if the score line at half time is unfavourable.
A good friend of mine, a blind man, determined to make it in life despite his disability. He went to the university and came out with a first degree in mass communication. He was the best student in his department and one of the best in school. He once told me that though he is blind, he can see clearly in the mind. He said it is not a disaster to be blind but it is to have correct eye balls but a blind mind.
See success clearly with your mind. Notwithstanding what you see now, be determined to get there by all means. Determine not to quit, even if situations give you “quit notice”. You can either stand up and be counted or lie down and be counted out. Have courage to live.
Your past cannot be changed, but you can change your tomorrow by your determination today.
Determination makes one to see afar, to realize that black is close to blue. With determination and persistence, drops of water will soon become an ocean.
When people say ‘Why?’ Say ‘Why not?’ And go ahead to make it happen. Always remember that determination is the mother of persistence and unless you persist, you cannot resist failure.
If mind is determined, the hand will be successful.
REMEMBER THAT
Failure is not final
- It is just a ‘knock-down’ not a “knock-out”
- Remember that your problem is not improving but you are growing stronger
- If the righteous fails seven times, He will surely rise again.
- You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
- Tough time never last, but tough people do.
