Your decision is very vital to your family finance; families have been shipwreck just because they embark on wrong decisions.
Your destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. Your decision determines your destination. Your choice is your chance of becoming who you want to be. Decision is the mother of a set of twins, named: DISTINCTION AND DESTRUCTION. You are allowed to freely adopt any one of them by choice. John Mason said, “A key to your future is that you can still choose; you can still decide. What you commit yourself to be, will change you from what you are and into what you can become. Decision determines destiny.
A powerful step towards becoming successful in life is to decide to be successful. Nobody can force you to be a success or otherwise. What you choose is what you have and what you still have unless you change your mind.
“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deut 30:19).
One proverb in my dialect states, “It is possible to force a horse to the stream, but you can not force it to drink water”. People can only counsel you. But it is up to you to design your success and resign from failure.
No good thing comes by chance. You have to decide to have them, work for and walk into them. Have you decided to be successful? Check yourself again. Are you really sure you desire success?
Many people know that success is good and love it. But they think only the man next door can be successful. They look at the history of their families and conclude that poverty or prosperity is hereditary. It is not true sir! The truth is that millionaires of today are the children of “hewers of wood” and “drawers of water” of yester-year that decided to be successful.
Frank Tyger said”….your future depends on many things, but mostly on you”….John Mason added, “You cannot succeed if you don’t believe in yourself”.
Every Olympic gold medalist must have taken a decision to go for gold at least two least two years before decoration. Before your name can be written in gold, you must have taken at least one golden decision. Prosperity is not hereditary neither is poverty genetic. They are both product of choice. Opportunities are said to favour only prepared minds and a prepared mind is a mind that has taken the right decision.
No successful man has ever lived that did not decide to be successful. No, not one.
Decision is the mother of vision and grandmother of distinction. Step down a little bit to take the right decision. Check your past life and compare it with your past decision. You will discover that they are the same. Your decision is the picture of your destiny.
Once you make up your mind to make it, every other thing will settle itself.
Always remember that what you decide is where you reside. Your decision determines your destiny and destination.
There is no giant anywhere. The only giant I know is the man that decides to take a giant stride. High jump is not for “high people”.
