• Be committed to change all bad habits and immature character
• Leave your father and mother. Genesis 2:24.
• Cleave to your wife. Genesis 2:24
• Be open to your wife. Genesis 2:25
• Become one flesh. Genesis 26:24
• Love your wife as Christ love the church. Ephesians 5:25
• Love your wife as your body. Ephesians 5:28-33
• Love your wife as she wants to be loved (speak her love languages)
• Be totally faithful to her. Exodus 20:17, Deut. 6:5
• Don’t be harsh on your wife
• Give pleasure to her. Deut. 24:5
• Turn your house to a banqueting hall. SOS 2:4
• See her as a lilly. SOS 2:2
• Honour her. 1 Peter 3:17
• Marry only her as long as she lives
• Pamper her
• Nourish her
• Cherish her
• Live joyfully with her. Eccl 9:9
• Don’t divorce her. Malachi 2:14-16
• Let her breast satisfy you not the breast of any other woman.
• Provide for her and your children. 1 Timothy 5:8
• Sleep with her; don’t deny her
