Mrs Ajila (Not real name) is married to a very prominent man in the City of Lagos. Her husband is well known and loved by all, a celebrity of a sort.
They live in wealth and affluence, high and mighty are at their beckon. She is the envy of all other women around who wished to be in her shoes, but nobody knew the fire that was burning her.
The day she walked into my office, she and her husband had not spoken for 18 months, they’ve not had sex for 22 months, yes you heard we well, 18 Months, not 18 Hours. They lived in the same house in Lagos here, but they were in bitter conflict and turbulent marriage.

Through her writing, I discovered that her husband was not as difficult as she took him to be, but she was ignorant about so many things in marriage, family, and wifehood. She then develops some bad attitudes that made her marriage difficult for her and her husband. Her husband responded by becoming very difficult with all manners of wicked attitudes.
Working to get her informed and change her attitude became my job as a counselor. I made her pass through teachings from our Excellent Wives Academy and told her to go back home and bring her Husband. She laughs and said that can never be possible because he is a very difficult man, proud and his status in the Society will not allow him to submit himself for counseling
I told her to go and practice what we taught her in the WIVES ACADEMY and that if she does that her Husband will follow her to my office in three weeks.
I got it wrong, her Husband refused to follow her in three weeks. He came earlier, after two weeks the man called me himself. He said he will like to see me. He said he will like to know what I told his wife that made her so sweet in the last two weeks, compare to what she had been in their 17 Years of Marriage. He came to my office later that day, his coming brought a great turn around to their marriage that has been in turbulence for years.
