I trained my boyfriend in The Polytechnic. I moved in with him and we were living like
husband and wife. I cannot count the number of times we had sex. In fact, it was a
daily thing. I thought I could pin him down by making my body available to him. I
got the shocker of my life when I found an invitation card in a friend’s office. I
took the card to my fiancée and asked him whose wedding card it was. He told
me that another brother in their church was bearing the same name with him and I
believed, since there was no picture on it. I did not know he had rented a flat very
close to his place of work. To cut it short, he got married and disappeared.
When I discovered it was true, I ran to his boss to tell him my plight but there was
nothing he could do. The man told me I do not have any legal backing so my case
was baseless. I was totally shattered but could not even tell anybody in my church
because everyone believed I was very holy. My mother who is not educated
warned me not to live-in with a man I was not yet married to but I did not listen
to her. The brother was an usher in his church while I was a chorister in my own

Am sharing this to warn all my fellow single ladies out there that cohabit
with a guy you are not yet married to.This is very bad and to know that giving free sex
cannot hold him down, you are only reducing your value before him and
destroying your life ignorantly. Ladies wise up!
