Good morning sir,

I Love Him But He Has A Child Out Of Wedlock-I have been in a relationship for six months now.I prayed very well before I agreed to his proposal and it was also confirmed to me by many men and people of God that he is God’s ordained  partner for me in marriage.Since the commencement of this relationship,I have seen traces of godliness ,truthfulness and solid character in him.But there is an issue that has been bothering me about him which is making to consider quitting the relationship.
The issue is this: he told me “he has a child” some years ago out of wedlock.
I want to get married to the will of  God in marriage but am really bothered.

Your fear about this issue is understandable but if you are very sure that it is the Lord that is leading you,there is nothing to fear about.For him not to hide this truth from you;it shows that truly he is sincere.What if he hide it from you till after the wedding? I Love Him But He Has A Child Out Of Wedlock

All you need is to clarify that he did not marry the woman legally .If that is done ,both of you will need serious pre-marital counselling which is a specialised one due to the fact that your husband-to-be is having a child.

Knowing how to handle the issue related to this child before wedding will go a long way in helping your marriage succeed but if you fail to do this, matters surrounding that child may spell doom on your marriage.
