MAXIMISING THE POTENCY OF PRAYERS IN RAISING GODLY CHILDREN (PART 3)
“A child of many prayers cannot go astray” Bisi Adewale.
Prayer can correct abnormalities in children if parents can engage in the prayer of agreement. When we pray, we are handing over our children to God to be with them, look after them and take care of them because He owns them and has plans for them.
Destiny killers are all over the world like Herod during the days of Jesus, but God kept Him to fulfil His purpose. However, other children were slain in the process; they became victims of circumstances. This will not be the portion of our children in the name of Jesus.
“Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men” Matthew 2:16 KJV
The greatest battle of life is easily won on your knees when you pray. Secret things of life are revealed cheaply at the altar of prayers. The journey of life becomes enjoyable for both parents and children when you can seek the face of God in prayers.
SHALL WE PRAY
Today we will focus on the prayer of PROTECTION for our children:
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 54:17 KJV
Please start with thanksgiving prayers for your children. Thanking God for protecting them from the time of conception till now, trusting God to keep protecting them as they journey in life.
Now pray the following aggressively:
(1) Lord, hide my children day and night in your secret place where no evil can befall them.
(2) Father, preserve the going out and coming in of my children in the name of Jesus.
(3) Father, protect my children from life wasters and blindfold the enemies from seeing the beautiful future of my children.
(4) God Almighty, shield my children through the blood of Jesus from accident, a stray bullet, attack in dreams and all pestilence flying in the world.
(5) The blueprint of God and His plans for my children will not be aborted and shattered in the name of Jesus.
(6) My children are carriers of light, they will shine even in the midst of darkness, they are unstoppable.
(7) Father, throughout my journey in life, I will not experience the death of a child or grandchild. No child will cause me sorrow and grief of mind. My children will make God happy and make me proud in the name of Jesus.
