And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof. (Zechariah 8:5 KJV)
To parent a boy rightly you must know and understand what make boys tick. You must know their challenges, weaknesses and strength. You need to learn to anticipate what they may likely do and when they are likely going to do it. This will equip you enough to be a parent you ought to be. So you need to understand the following:
1: Boys are not Girls
Parents, mummies most especially should understand that boys are not girls. They are totally different from girls. Do not raise them with a girlish mind. You have to become a boy in your mind to enjoy their company.
2: They are not brilliant or better than girls. They may be stronger physically, but boys are not necessarily more brilliant than girls as people think. So, stop ‘’fighting’’ your boy if some girl does better than him in school.

3: Boys are full of adventure
They can take risky steps, ignorantly copying what they saw on the television.  And they may want to give it a trial. So you will need to keep eyes on them any time you are out together.

4: They can be aggressive
When your boys play, jumping from one chair to another and skipping two or three steps on the staircase at the same time, do not panic. They are just being boys. Boys can be daring, aggressive and be tough.
5: They can be very untidy
Have you ever entered a typical boy’s room? A dump site would provide a better sight! It is always messy with items thrown carelessly around. Boys can be very untidy, so do not give yourself high blood pressure because of this. Just be patience with them.
