Highway of Godliness to a Successful marriage

“But reject profane and old wives’ fables and exercise yourself towards godliness.
For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come”. 1 Timothy 4:7-8
Godliness as one of the highways to a successful marriage has some necessary ingredients that go with it, viz; Holiness, Righteousness, Purity, the fear of the Lord, among others. These are highly required for getting godly wisdom for the building of a strong and well established home. (Prov 4:7, Isaiah 54:14)
Godliness is the roof of all godly principles guiding a successful marriage. If the fear of the Lord is deeply rooted in your heart, it will become easy to make your marriage what God wants it to be.
Godly men do not beat their wives, neglect their homes or engage in unholy relationships.
It takes godliness to have genuine love, to be trust worthy, and be of impeccable character.
Righteousness exalts a nation but sin brings reproach and failure. Godliness brings God into one’s affairs but sin opens one up to demonic possession and attacks.
God desires to bring a righteous seed out of your home, (Malachi 2:15) but this seed can only come from a godly family with an unblemished lineage.
