LOOK INTO THE MIRROR
As she was teaching during the Women convention, she suddenly stopped, called for her bag, opened it and brought out a Mirror.
The invited guest minister is a popular woman of God running a large Women Prayer ministry, she is known for a practical down to earth, call it as it is kind of presentation.
She said, all women in the house, are you with your bags? They all chorused, yes, she said, open it and bring out your mirror, i trust you, most of you will have mirrors in your bag.
True to her word, majority of the women brought a mirror out of their bags. She then said, look at the back of your mirror not into it. Today you will experience magic. When you look into this mirror you are going to see the number one enemy of your marriage so that you will know how to handle him.
Are you ready, she asked, they all said yes, she then said look into it. Many women expected to see their Perceived enemy in the mirror, but they were staring at their faces.
The guest Minister said the person you see in the mirror is the enemy of your Marriage, if the person change your marriage will change. Nobody can hurt your marriage.
This is very true, most of the time we blame others for the state of our marriage which is called ‘’others look’’, at times we blame our spouse, this is called ‘’spousal look’’ but the best look for a better marriage is called ‘’Mirror look’’.
You’ve got to look inward to know what is wrong with your marriage before blaming anybody for it, the terrible state of your marriage can be because of your
Wrong thinking
Wrong association
Wrong attitude
Wrong belief
Wrong environment
Wrong communication
Or wrong information
Look at yourself first; Jesus counselled that we should remove the log from our eyes before trying to remove the speck from the eyes of our spouses.
Don’t try to change your spouse, you can’t succeed doing that, but you can change yourself, improve and be better and see the way it will inspire your spouse for the better.
Look at the mirror today to see that fellow that must change for a better Marriage.
