STOP FIGHTING THE WRONG PERSON
A man who was having serious problems in his marriage visited his Counsellor to report his wife. He was very sure his wife is his enemy in the marriage, he was very sure his business was not progressing because his wife is terrible, diabolical and demonic.
So he declared war on his wife, his Children, his wifes friends and his in-Laws.
He took to drugs and Alcohol, he began to move with wrong friends and women of easy virtue. He hated his wife and used everything to fight her.
One day he met an old friend of his who introduced him to a Lawyer, thinking he will help him to get a divorce, but God had another plan.
The lawyer sat him down and counselled him, letting him know that he was fighting the wrong battle; he was fighting the wrong person.
He told him The devil is against you, your spouse, and your marriage. Contend with the REAL enemy, not your spouse.
Many of us are like this man, we thought our spouses are our enemies, not at all. I don’t need to know your spouse before telling you that what is wrong with your Marriage involves both of you, stop casting the stones, stop fighting the wrong person, fight the devil that wants to scatter your home, fight the wrong attitude that wants to destroy your life and future.
Nobody can win fighting himself, nobody can conquer fighting his shadow. Your spouse is you in the other gender, stop fighting each other, seek solution in the right place, there is still hope for that marriage, get it in God.
