ACT WISELY WITH THE EASE OF LOCKDOWN
For as many who have been asked to resume work, may the Lord be with you, keep you from evil and preserve you as you go out and come in. Please keep your faith alive and be prayerful. Don’t lose the spiritual strength that you have gained in this season, keep improving and growing.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
Psalm 121:8 (NLT)
If you are experiencing pay cut or unpaid leave in your office, trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not be downcast. God will surprise you with testimonies of heavenly resources and pleasant surprises. If your business operation is low, there will be a turnaround sooner than expected.
Joel 2:25-26
Please be sensitive about your movement, observe personal hygiene, social distancing, wear your face mask and use recommended hand sanitizers. Adhere to all outdoor and in-house protocols for movement as advised by the health experts.
Be security conscious as well. We have those who have been criminals and were also locked down. They will be all out to make up for the period they couldn’t really operate. May you not be their victim. No need to flaunt your cash when you visit an ATM or enter a bank for any transaction. Be mindful of your phone conversation in the public especially when concluding a business or negotiating with a client or a customer.
Plan your resources; don’t lose your guard by spending lavishly from your savings or salary. Cut cost and block wastage as you will still have family and personal expenses to cater for later; you must be proactive. I would advice that you draw up a budget and keep utilizing it to put your spending in check. Kindly remember the needy with the genuine unpleasant situation as you plan your resources, God will pay you back
Learn about how you can embrace multiple streams of income; it’s very important now. There has been a hike in the prices of essential items in recent times. Allow your mind to blow in the right direction and permit God to guide you with ideas. You need to be actively involved in some businesses and sectors that are booming now as God will inspire you, depending on the nature of your job (if you are gainfully employed) and work with laws of government for guidance.
Stay positive at all times. Before this time, I have advised that we should allow God and His peace to rule and reign over our emotions. Don’t allow the flesh and negative information to impose anxiety, depression and negative moods on you. Be hopeful and joyful.
Practice all the skills you have acquired, knowledge garnered from online classes, tutorials, webinars and books read. It is time for action, you have not learnt in vain. Occasions and opportunities will begin to beckon on you now. You will have to initiate some opportunities by letting them know you are now skilled in that area so that you can get patronage and engagements.
Push forward your vision and goals further, some might have put their lives on hold because of the lockdown. It’s time to kickstart again and if you have been doing something about it, you need to do more with accountability and intentionality.
Your health needs attention too. May an emergency at any hospital not befall you in the name of Jesus. However, shed the excess weight you have gained. The bad habits you might have indulged in, checkmate it now. Don’t let it gain further ground so you won’t grow deep in it. Pay attention to what will keep boosting your health and immune system as there is a tendency in the spike of this pandemic because of the uncared attitude of some people, disobedience to important instructions and certain negligence that could contain the spread of the virus.
