Faithfulness is a major key to marital success. Faithfulness builds trust, trust build marriage, and marriage builds a family. Nobody wants to marry and live with an unfaithful spouse. Faithfulness is the key foundation of marriage. You can’t build a great marriage without it. Your spouse must be able to rely on and believe you. Your spouse must be secured with your promises to him or her.
FAITHFULNESS DEFINED
What does it mean to be faithful? Often, we use the word to mean merely not committing adultery, not going out with any other person apart from your spouse. Why this is the most obvious part of faithfulness, the word itself encompasses so much more.
Many spouses are unfaithful, but they do not commit adultery. In fact, before you can commit adultery, you must have been unfaithful in so many other ways.
18 AREAS OF FAITHFULNESS:
- PERFORMANCE OF DUTY:You are a faithful worker performing your expected duty.
- TRUTH to one’s word, promises, vows, etc. Being reliable and trusted.
“A faithful witness will not lie: But a false witness will utter lies.”

- LOYALTY:Steadiness in allegiance or affection. Constant loyalty to your spouse, defending and protecting him or her.
- STANDARD:Adhering or true to fact, a standard, or an original; accurate: a faithful account.
- UNITY:A husband and a wife are on the same side and the same team always. They are together in words, battles, victory and thoughts. They are one flesh.
- FORGIVENESS:They don’t keep offences in their hearts. They work things out and forgive and overlook offences faithfully. They remain in fellowship with one another.
- FAITHFUL WORDS:When speaking to others, a faithful wife does not bad mouth her husband or whine and complain about him to her girlfriends. When speaking to others, a faithful husband does not mock his wife. When you say bad things at your spouse’s back, it shows you are deceitful, unfaithful and a liar.

- FAITHFULNESS IN THOUGHTS:Your thoughts about your spouse must be constantly pure and true. If you are not happy about anything, discuss it practically, lovingly and clear your mind.
- FAITHFULNESS IN FRIENDSHIP:You are to be friends with those who are friends of your spouse only. Anybody who hates your spouse should never be your friend.
- SPOUSAL BIAS:You are to be biased in your spouse’s favour. Your loyalty must never be in doubt.
- SPOUSAL BELIEF:You need to believe in your spouse and stand with him or her, always.
- SPOUSAL SUPPORT:Don’t just believe. Give your support always.
- SPOUSAL PROTECTION:Do everything to defend and protect your spouse the way you would your most precious possessions.
- SPOUSAL COMMITMENT:A faithful spouse is committed to the well-being of his or her spouse.
- UNION COMMITMENT:A faithful spouse seeks the best for the relationship always. They do anything and everything to defend and protect the union.
- FINANCIAL TRUTHFULNESS:A faithful spouse is truthful financially. No hiding payments, salaries and other income. No secret dealings or hiding of projects or purchases.
- ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENT:A faithful spouse is transparent to his or her spouse. No secret or dark rooms. He is vulnerable to his air her spouse and predictable.
- CYBAL PURITY:A faithful spouse will be very clean and pure when browsing the internet. He or she will not fancy or view pornography or watch suggestive videos that can hurt their marriage.
