- Fight Mates. These are couples that see themselves as enemies. They have fought so much to the extent that they are now separated from each other but not legally divorced. Anytime they come together for any reason, they continue their strife and bickering.
- Cell Mates. These couples live together as if they are sharing the same cell. There is no joy, love or friendship. They are full of bitterness for each other, fond of reporting each other to every Tom, Dick and Harry. - House Mates. Couples in plastic marriages end up as house mates. No friendship, affection, attention, oneness and togetherness.
