MEEKNESS NOT WEAKNESS

There has been a lot of misconception about meekness and humility with the way people see them as weakness. To do anything great in life and for people to really reckon with you and be ready to be of help to you; you have to be humble.Pride is a put-off any day.
A new understanding of HUMILITY, the link with MEEKNESS and POWER.

HUMILITY is from the same root word as “HUMUS”, a good soil. So when we say somebody is humble, we are referring to somebody who is like the soil. There is something peculiar about the soil though which we don’t really see in people who ‘claim’ to be humble.

No matter what you do to the soil, it does not complain; you walk on it, excrete on it, urinate on it, dig it etc without uttering a word.
Meekness is when you have a tremendous power but decided to become helpless for a purpose.

There is something about humility, you must forget that you are something before you can really say you are humble. You have to be humble in order to be meek i.e the only thing that can make you meek is humility and humility requires that you forget about your qualifications and know that you are who you are through the grace of God.
Jesus said in Matthew 16:24-25, “if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it, and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it”.
You must lose your life for the sake of the cross.

There is another thing about the soil, you sow on it and it gives you plenty of harvest. As a true child of God, there is something God has deposited into your life and remember friends you cannot waste heaven’s investment upon your life.
Remember the story of the talents in Matthew 25:15B “we have been given talents according to our individual ability”, so the talents need to be harnessed and utilized well.
In order words, you must bear fruit so that God will not cut you off Luke 13:6-9. To get true power from God who is the source, you need to be humble.
It is my prayer that you shall not be cut off but you need to be obedient by bearing fruit Matthew 28:18-20. Remain blessed
