Today I’m talking to you about BEING IN IT TOGETHER
A young Man was very sick. Everybody thought he would die, but his wife stood by him, caring for him, nurturing him and above all assuring him God will intervene and healed him.
According to him, he can’t count the number of times his wife told him ‘’My Dear, you will not die, you will live, we are in this battle together, we will win, you will survive this, do not be afraid, i am here with you’’
He said this really energized him and gave him courage to battle on and got victory over the sickness that killed many others.
Standing with your spouse in the time of trouble is one of the things that make you a great spouse, the least you can do for your spouse is to be there together in battles, in sorrow, in joy, in battles, in Victory, in gain, in loss i mean in everything.
Be totally there for your spouse in Health and in sickness, in poverty and in riches, come rain or sunshine. Let your spouse know that your loyalty is non-negotiable and that he or she will not even need to beg for it.
Everybody needs somebody. The rock solid support of a spouse is always the magic wand needed to weather the storm in trying times. Prove that you are a good person in times of trial, don’t abandon your spouse. Prove that you are true and the right person for your spouse when things go wrong.
I have seen lots of Men abandoning a sick wife in the hospital, a man even ran away because his wife gave birth to triplets, this is totally wrong.
Some women are fond of abandoning their families when finances dry up at home, this is not good. A virtuous woman stands by her husband and family when things get tough but a fair weather, help-eat slay queen is on her way out because her values are wrong.
Be in it together, it will not kill you, you will get to the end of the tunnel, tough time never last but tough people do, be too tough for your situation, fight the battle and win together, it is well with you.
