Similarly, for your marriage to work according to God’s plan for you, you are not permitted to walk in line with your ideologies or the dictates of the flesh. If you don’t marry God’s choice for your life, then you will live outside the grace of God where disgrace is sure.
Demanding to know God’s will is not as important as your willingness to do His will. You must therefore be equipped with the grace that flows from the throne of God to be able to obey God no matter how difficult it seems. As the manufacturer, God knows what is best for us, which is why His will for our lives is not restricted to issues of marriage alone.
Here are a few:
– It is the will of God that you are sanctified. (I Thessalonians 4:3a)
– It is the will of God that you run away from fornication. (I Thessalonians 4:3b)
– It is the will of God that you obey Him.
– It is the will of God that we give thanks in everything (I Thessalonians 5:18)

Sin is an abomination to our Holy God in whom the foundation of grace dwells. Once we embrace sin, we no longer have access to the grace of God but are ushered into endless disgrace. This is my reason for defining sin as a pleasurable journey into the land of disgrace.
Satan presents sin to man as something “sweet” but ignorantly, man receives of the devil a sugar-coated time bomb. It may be “tasty” but the end thereof is destruction. The fleeting pleasures are uncomfortable to the tears that will follow for all eternity.
End that injurious adventure that shuts out the grace of God but swims in a pool of disgrace.

God is the giver of all we have. We came to this world naked and empty-handed but God’s faithfulness has brought us this far. The only thing that matters most to God after all He has done for you is that you devote your life to Him and continually serve him. Give Him quality praise daily and abstain from sin which He hates.
