  • Always remember that you too are not perfect, so you can make mistake
  • Remember that to err is human but to forgive is divine
  • Make room in your heart for offences
  • Forgive and forget
  • Never keep records of offence
  • Always remember that you will be doing yourself a great favour if you forgive.
  • Know that lacks of forgiveness will hinder your prayers (Mk. 11:25-26)
  • Be the first person that will take re-conciliatory steps, remember you are a Christian
  • If you find it so difficult to forgive the person, lock yourself up in your room, call the name of the person 20 times, then pray for him or her for 15 minutes; do it twice (morning and night) in 3 days, and you will receive grace to forgive.
  • Always remember that unforgiveness may hinder you from making heaven.
  • Never mention the offence again, either to your spouse or to anybody else, for it will be as if you are opening a wound that is still healing. (Isa. 43:25)
