5 WAYS TO DETECT A DECEIVER IN A RELATIONSHIP

A lot of singles, both guys and ladies have fallen prey to deceivers who parade themselves as true lovers in a relationship. It is very important that as a young lady or guy you need to watch out for all these signs in anyone professing love for you so that you can know whether he/she is a true lover or the person is in lust. We have more of youths who are lusting after a particular thing in a lady than we have those that are in real love. Infatuation, lust and love are three different things that lead to different destinations.
While INFATUATION is being controlled by physical attraction for someone which doesn’t last and lacks common sense, LUST is a burning desire to satisfy one’s sexual appetite (what lust understands is sex and nothing more) but LOVE is different from them and it glorifies God. Love is the feelings of compassion mixed with kindness you have for someone that makes you sacrifice and always seek their interest.
Here are some of the things you must check to know if that guy or babe truly loves you or he/she is a deceiver.
- THEY ARE ALWAYS MINDFUL OF THE WAY THEY SPEAK: deceptive people prefer to talk little because they lack details so that they will not be caught. They understand that when they talk more, you tend to pick them up easily especially when they have not concocted their lies very well.
- THEY TEND TO BE DEFENSIVE EVEN WHEN NOT ASKED: no other human being is as defensive as a deceptive person in a relationship. Even when you are still listening to them, they tend to go back and forth to defend what you are not questioning in order to make you believe. That is the work of their conscience pricking them.
- THEY TEND TO REPEAT QUESTION BEFORE ANSWERING THEM: they mostly answer questions with another question because while doing this they will be able to put up their defense
- THEY TEND TO FRAGMENT THEIR SENTENCES: they can never talk straight no matter how good the person is at lying, if you are patient and watchful, you can easily detect that you are being scammed with lies.
- THEY USUALLY SOUND TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE: watch out for a sugar-coated tongue that can spit anything from money till night in a sweet way, then you can be sure of lies. Don’t allow anyone to sweet tongue you
These are some of the signs to watch out for to know if that person you are calling special someone is a liar of not. You must also know this that lying is not gender specific – it could be a lady or a guy.
