- INVEST IN PRAYER
Take your time to pray for and with your spouse; you must involve God in your marriage if you want it to work. The best of man cannot fulfill the will of God and you must involve the manufacturer of marriage if you want him to be involved in your marriage and family life (Matthew 7:7).
2. INVEST TIME
The time you spend with friends should be invested towards making your home to work. You can’t make you marriage work if you are never at home; you can’t make your marriage blissful if you are never at home.10 INVESTMENTS TO MAKE IN YOUR MARRIAGE
3. INVEST MONEY
Take good care of your family; provide for your wife and children. Wives support your husband financially; don’t ever allow money to come between you. Use it as a tool of progress not a tool of family destruction. As soon as you get married your money is no more yours but family money; use it for the progress of your family (1Timothy 5:8).
4. INVEST LOVE

5. INVEST YOUR RIGHT
One of the things that easily destroy marriage is “Right mentality”. If you are all bent on getting your “right” always, you may scatter your marriage. You may not get what you want always; 2+2 may not be 4 always in marriage. It may end up becoming 3. Let go your right on the short run to get your joy on the long run.
6. INVEST YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER
You have to leave your father and mother and cleave to your spouse, thereby investing your treasured relationship with your spouse. This does not mean you will abandon your parents, not at all; but it simply means they cease to be number in your life. They cease to be your priority and now your spouse becomes number one in your life after God. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed Genesis 2:24-25 (KJV).
7. INVEST ATTENTION
Cleaving means you begin to give your full attention to your spouse, you deliberately spend time with him. He becomes your focus physically, socially, emotionally and even spiritually. 8. INVEST GOOD WORDS
Two cannot agree except they talk and two cannot talk except they agree. Learn to talk to your spouse, be transparent, open and truthful and talk in love. Never speak to hurt, rather speak to motivate, edify, inform and make your spouse happy. Invest good words. A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger Proverbs 15:1 (KJV).
9. INVEST LISTENING
Don’t just talk, be a good listener. Listen to your spouse; let him talk. Listen even if the grammar is not okay; listen even if he is cracking the same joke for the twentieth time. Listen with love and rapt attention; listen with joy; listen to understand.
10. INVEST HUMOR
