MARRIAGE: THINGS THAT MUST BE IN PLACE BEFORE YOU TIE THE NUT
Before you think of getting married there are somethings that must be in place, they are:
1. A good job– Both parties should have a source of regular income, no matter how small it is.
2. House– You must have your own apartment no matter how small it is, this should not be in the family house or with your parent, it must be your own apartment, either you build or rent one, it must be yours.
3. Household materials– Household materials like bed, cooking utensils, chairs, electronics gadgets, etc must be in the house to make the house comfortable.
4. Training– You must undergo proper training, read books, listen to tapes, attend seminars, and attend intending couple’s class and marriage school.
5. Good Preparation– Preparation should be made not just for wedding but for marriage also, you must prepare physically, mentally, morally, socially, intellectually and financially.
6. Maturity– You must also be mature before going in to marriage
7. Parental Consent– This is also compulsory before wedding.
8. Team Spirit– Marriage is not a solo, it is a duet, there must be team spirit if there will be peace after the wedding.
