MAXIMISING THE POTENCY OF PRAYERS IN RAISING GODLY CHILDREN (PART 4)

The atmosphere in this age is saturated with all manners of wrong information causing confusion, pollution, corruption, temptation and perversion for the children. And our children are confronting and battling with things these challenges. But through prayers, they can scale through unhurt and come out victorious.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3 KJV
We are not just praying to protect our children and secure their future alone. As we are praying, we are making our children know that prayer works, they learn the act of prayer and they can rely on God’s power and principles which are ever relevant and potent in all situations. Whether we are there with them or not, they can call on God and approach Him too as their father in times of needs and for sustainability, revival and survival.
SHALL WE PRAY
Today we would focus on the prayer for DECISIONS AND CHOICES of our children:
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19
Please start with thanksgiving prayers for your children.
Now pray the following aggressively:
(1) Lord, let my children make you their choice to please and serve you.
(2) Father, help my children to choose your love above ungodly and enticing things of the world.
(3) I pray for divine guidance for my children. Their steps will be ordered by God. They will choose life, not death
(4) My children will follow the path of distinction, not the path of destruction in the name of Jesus.
(5) I dip my children’s decisions and choices in the blood of Jesus.
(6) Oh Lord, disconnect my children from the association that can mislead them and aid wrong decisions and choices in life.
(7) Father, guide my children spiritually, academically, marital. They will not study in the wrong school, the wrong course or choose to marry wrongly in the name of Jesus.
