5 THINGS THAT CAN SEND MAN TO AN EARLY GRAVE

Many men who were supposed to be great have been destroyed by some destiny killers. Throughout the history of the world, these killers have been working unhindered. We need to examine them carefully so that you can know them and learn to be very careful in handling them.
- WOMEN
When Donald graduated from the university with a first-class degree in geology, it seemed that a promising career would be certain for him. This was quickly confirmed as several oil companies scrambled to employ him. Eventually, he decided to work for one American oil company. His aged parents were very happy as they strongly believed that their son would soon liberate them from the clutches of poverty. This was never to be as Donald met Binta, a fun-loving young lady who took over his heart. She taught him many things that were far from decent living. He started smoking, drinking, got hooked on drugs, lived indecently and riotous life.
He was later sacked because of drug addiction and alcohol.
See the warning of the Lord in the Bible about women:
“Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.” Proverbs 31:3 KJV
Flee from women and stick to your wife. Fornication and adultery cut lives and destinies short. Be careful.
Note that the enjoyment and pleasure that is in sex is just eight seconds. If you get it through the wrong ways and from the wrong woman, you may never recover from it, so be careful.
Strange Women Are Narrow Pits
If you fall into it, you may not come out alive. Be careful.
“Prostitutes and immoral women are a deadly trap. They wait for you like robbers and cause many men to be unfaithful.” Proverbs 23:27-28 GNT
Don’t Be a Fool
The Bible calls whosoever commits adultery a fool because he is paying for what he has at home. He ends up destroying himself with diseases and will be a disgrace for the rest of his life.
“But a man who commits adultery is a fool. He brings about his own destruction. He will suffer disease and disgrace and never be free from the shame.” Proverbs 6:32-33 ERV
There Is A Woman That Can Save Your Life
The Bible talks about a woman who can protect you and even save your life and future.
“An excellent woman [one who is spiritual, capable, intelligent, and virtuous], who is he who can find her? Her value is more precious than jewels and her worth is far above rubies or pearls. The heart of her husband trusts in her [with secure confidence], And he will have no lack of gain.” PROVERBS 31:10-11 AMP
This is the woman you have at home, your wife. You are secure in her hands; she is a bundle and deep well of pleasure. This is the only person you should sleep with all the days of your life to prevent you from destruction.
- WINE
Another thing that has destroyed the lives of many promising men is alcohol. It is a known fact that wine and whoredom always journey together.
When a young man gets addicted to wine, only God can save his soul. Alcohol is bad for our health. It hurts family life and careers greatly. It has no vitamin or minerals but easily destroys the lives of those who are addicted to it.
“It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not for kings to drink wine, Or for rulers to desire strong drink, Otherwise they drink and forget the law and its decrees, And pervert the rights and justice of all the afflicted.” PROVERBS 31:4-5 AMP
- WANDERING
Lack of vision is another killer of men’s destinies.
In a university, only 3% of the graduating students had their goals and visions in black and white. Twenty years later, it was discovered that only these 3% were super-rich, while some of those who did not write them down did fairly. However, the set of people without a vision at the time they graduated did badly.
If you don’t know where you are going, the journey is far. Stop wandering about. Success is not for wanderers, it is for people with vision.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 KJV
- WRONG ASSOCIATION
Many men have been destroyed because, like the prodigal son, they joined themselves to the wrong set of people and hurt their fortunes in the process.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV
A wrong association can lead to absolute destruction, be careful. Be in the right company. Whosoever you join yourself with will determine your destination in life.
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20 KJV
- WICKED WORLD
Wicked powers of the world are also known to target the lives of men.
If you are a man, the devil hates you even from your birth. In the days of Pharaoh, he used him to kill so many male babies. He also used Herod to do the same. He is still in the business of men’s destruction today. You will do well to stand up, withstand and confront him for your liberty.
