Another fundamental law of marriage is the Law of Business. Couples must have an occupation/business/career that they do to sustain the marriage. It is not enough for the husband alone to be working, the wife must be financially supportive too hence, she needs to engage in gainful employment or business.
Marriage may go sour if finance is inadequate, or not available as there is no romance, where there is no finance. You need finance to spice up every day of your marriage and to make it have a daily honeymoon experience.
Wives, don’t be idle in your marriage, don’t just sit at home as a full housewife, contribute financially to the upkeep of the family. It is shameful when a wife has to wait for the husband’s arrival before she could buy anything for the family.
However, as a wife or husband, don’t be too engrossed with your job/work/career at the expense of your family. Your family must always come first. Your children need your time and attention more than they need your money.
