Help: He Want To Marry Me But My Pastor Said No. Now I’m confused

Good day sir,

I have been in a relationship since last year,though we have been friends.
Now having informed my pastor,enquires were made that my calling and the guy in question’s calling does not match.He Want To Marry Me But My Pastor Said No
I discover in the relationship that i have peace all round,no sex,its based on the word of God.
Sir, he is planning to settle down with me next year,Please,what should I do?

I will urge you to tread softly.Don’t rush into marriage.Hold on a little,pray for more confirmation before you go ahead.He Want To Marry Me But My Pastor Said No

Becareful! The Lord may be using your Pastor to stop you from going into a wrong relationship.

Take some days off to go into fasting and prayer asking God for what to do.Allow God to lead you,don’t be too desperate but be patient to get a nod from God before you go ahead.I am not saying that your pastor is wrong or right but get a clarification;be very sure before you tie the knot.Always remember that nobody will be there with you in marriage.He Want To Marry Me But My Pastor Said No

Interesting. I wonder what character flaws or traits the pastor sees that the woman does not. Did the pastor clarify his reasons to this young lady or merely give a firm no. How discouraging it is when we think and believe we are in love and have found our life mate only to have those who love us find fault and doubt in that bond. It is hard to take advice sometimes when our hearts and heads are wanting what we want or think we want and need. I would definitely approach this pastor and ask him to be open. Perhaps he knows more than the young woman knows or perhaps he has some serious qualms about the man’s integrity, faith and spiritual ways.

I will not say what the pastor said is wrong but if he has seen anything concerning the sister and the brother, he better say it out, so that they will know what to do next and not to be confused thinking that the pastor wanted to stop their marriage without any reason.As her spiritual father,he has the right to lead her right and not to confuse her.
Also,you should seek the face of the Lord for guidance with fasting and prayer, God can speak to you in the way you will understand and don’t rush into marriage until you have the confirmation that he is God’s chose for you,because you don’t know what the pastor saw before stopping you.So pray and be sure.
Remember, if you rush in, you will rush out. Wait and pray!
