The plan of God for you is to raise Children that will give you Joy tomorrow,
Children that will not make you cry.
Let examine the following:
TWO KINDS OF CHILDREN
A. WISE CHILDREN
“The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.”
Proverbs 10:1 KJV
B. FOOLISH CHILDREN
“A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.”
Proverbs 19:13 KJV
A foolish Child makes his/her parent cry
— A foolish Child is a disgrace
— A foolish Child do cause parents agony in old age.
HOW TO RAISE A CHILD WITHOUT TEARS
If you want to raise wise children, children that will give you peace; you must avoid the following:
- AVOID BLACK PARENTING:
Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
~ Raising Children without Wisdom
~ Raising Children without knowing what it takes to raise a Child. This is also known as clueless parenting
~ Read quality books about parenting
~ Develop yourself
- AVOID SOLO PARENTING
Psalm 133:1-3 KJV
[1] Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! [2] It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
[3] As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
<> Raising Children without unity by parents. Mum said go, Dad said come, the Children are confused.
<> Cooperate to raise a proper Child
- AVOID HAPHAZARD PARENTING:
Psalm 144:12 KJV
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
— Raising Children without goal, plan, vision or purpose.
— Copying what you see in others to raise your own child.
— Child bearing and rearing without training
- AVOID SPINELESS PARENTING
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
~ Raising Children without discipline or training.
~ Children are in control
~ Children do whatever they want whenever they want it
- AVOID BULLY PARENTING
Proverbs 29:21
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.
<> Raising children through wickedness
<> Beating, bullying, Shouting, intimidating
<> Making life difficult for Children
<> Making Children regret they came through you
<> If you terrify them when they are young, they will terrorize you when you are old
- AVOID WARFARE PARENTING
Proverbs 11:29
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart
~ Raising Children while fighting ones partner
~ Reporting ones spouse to the Children
~ Fighting in the presence of the Children
~ Presenting ones spouse as a Devil to Children - AVOID GODLESS PARENTING
2 John 1:4
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
