MARRIAGE – A THREEFOLD MIRACLE TO MANKIND

The way people view marriage would have been different if they know what miracle it is and how God really had mankind in mind before He originated the institution called marriage. Marriage is a blessing to man and until there is a good understanding of this truth; some people will continue to make a mess of the institution because of lack of understanding and their ignorance which is no excuse for failure.

Marriage, as planned by God, is meant to be a threefold miracle where everyone involved will enjoy the dividend of these miracles. Here are the miracles being married brings to you;

1. BIOLOGICAL MIRACLE – this is the situation where two people become one flesh; though this is even beyond science or any human knowledge because science doesn’t even believe two can ever become one. Genesis 2:24
2. SOCIAL MIRACLE: this is where two families are brought together to become one. It involves a kind of integration. This brings about in-laws that are not part of the marriage but a family as a result of the miracle of marriage.
3. SPIRITUALMIRACLE: this is the utmost and a great covenant which if any man and woman embrace will make their marriage extraordinary. It pictures the relationship between Christ and the church(the bride)Ephesians 5:23-27

Marriage is a covenant commitment between the man and woman through the vow they made to God, each other in the presence of many witnesses to love, cherish, be faithful, provide, sacrifice, seek each other’s good for life, love just as Christ love the church, submit in reverence to God  and; leaving other people to be joined to your spouse. There is no greater covenant than this anywhere. It joins the spirit, soul and body making them indeed one with no secrecy. Openness is the key thing for the survival of this kind of covenant union.

Bisi Oludare has a passion and ministry in the area of family life. She is a graduate of the First Premier Marriage Institute – The College of Marital Success where she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate as a qualified Chartered Counselor. She is a graduate of the School of Disciples and also attended the Word of Faith Bible Institute. She is a graduate of Biochemistry from LAUTECH and also holds a Masters Degree in Pharmacology from UNILAG but called to build homes through the power in the word of God.
