HOW TO BE A ROLE MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN-Looking at Proverbs 31:21-22 as it applies to our world today one can not but wonder at what technological advancement has caused us. Needless to say that technology and civilization have destroyed a lot of things and even people, culminating into what we have in our homes today. HOW TO BE A ROLE MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN
I wouldn’t have bothered myself but the level at which this decadence has entered the church is very alarming.  Going form parents to their children.
“She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. ”
What a virtue in a godly woman indeed shouldered with the responsibility of raising a triple G children! Who are GOOD, GREAT & GODLY. HOW TO BE A ROLE MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN
What we are talking about is the issue of CLOTH.
Clothes are meant to cover our nakedness but today,  people and even some so-called Christian women are blind-folded with civilization so much that they dress anyhow. Wearing see-through dresses,  spaghetti, very tight clothes, clothes opening their cleavages and they some times wear clothes that leave nothing to people’s imagination because everything is already out.
It’s disheartening seeing these dresses in church.
How can a woman  take her hard earned money to the market, only to come back home with a RAG and she calls it cloth?
A virtuous woman will cover her nakedness,  she will NEVER put what’s meant for her husband alone on display for others to see. They sew the same for children that are just growing up,  what kind of a disastrous parenting is that? Please,  mothers be intentional in your style of parenting; these children are using you as their yardstick.
What are you even promoting or what are you putting on sale?
Hear me clearly, that thing you are advertising is stale to every other person but always fresh and new to your husband, so keep and preserve them for him alone. Stop showing free film to people on the street or in the church.
God saw that Adam and Eve were naked and He covered them up,  so why are you displaying your own nakedness? HOW TO BE A ROLE MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN
Listen to this, peradventure you don’t know; your daughter will follow what she’s seeing now and just like that wise saying “whoever one wants to resemble,  he/she will always supersede or be better than.” Your daughter when it’s her time will definitely take it a notch higher than you which you may think it’s too much and want to correct,  it may be too late then like a woman sometimes ago that complained to me about her grown daughter. All I saw was a girl trying to do more than the mother.
Not only to the ladies, but even the guys are sagging. It’s already clear that,  it’s criminals that sag in America or is it all these devilish haircut they do now?
The level of moral decadence is heart-rending. HOW TO BE A ROLE MODEL TO YOUR CHILDREN
I enjoin you,  stop dressing shabbily.
Do away with any dress that’s not glorifying God because indeed; as you are dressed, so you will be addressed.
“Let your moderation be known to all men. ”
If as a lady I feel bad seeing some dresses and would have shouted JESUS before putting myself together,  how much more a man?
