To have a solid family financial base, the foundation has to be laid as a single person. Many married people who are battling with their finances found themselves in financial mess due to lack of knowledge. In order not to repeat the same mistake, read, digest and act on this write-up.
1. The God’s Factor. In all your plans and pursuits, acknowledge God, your maker. He is the originator of wealth, the owner of your life, serve Him, give your life to Him, create time to fellowship with Him and He will give you direction and prosper the work of your hands.
2. Practice the 10% Principle. The tenth percent principle is proven strategy and it works wonder! How? Always ensure you pay tenth (10%) of your earnings to God as tithe. Payment of the tenth percent will cause God to rebuke devourers in your business and opened the windows of blessing to you. Many wealthy men like John D. Rockefeller have proved this to be right. This tenth principle has nothing to do with the size of your salary, do not even consider your expenses before you deduct it for God. Be determined to pay it regularly and you will experience the blessings of God in every aspect of your life.
3. Be educated. Education is a worthy investment. What you are doing presently may not require any formal education or certificate but that does not mean that you should neglect education.
Though, you may not have sponsors but it is advisable to get a degree now while you are still single than when you are married with many responsibilities. Try hard and get a degree because it will influence your future positively, change your life and help you to interact with great minds. Get that certificate now, you may need it tomorrow.
4. Discover your Purpose. One of the ladders of financial fortune is to discover your purpose, the place of your assignment. Your purpose is what you are created to do on earth. In it lie your success, prosperity, fame and your celebration. You can discover my purpose. You may ask.
– Check your natural ability/talents. Every human being were created with a peculiar talent. Get serious with it and trade with it and it will bring money your way.
– Check your passion. What is that thing you enjoy doing without stream, what people enjoy you doing, what you do better than others. Improve your knowledge about your passion, turn it to a trade and people will patronize you. If you have passion for teaching and children, you can turn it to a money-making venture by establishing a school or a daycare center. Don’t waste your life away in other people’s field. Sit down and check yourself very well to locate the place of your assignment because the place of your assignment is the place of your strength, promotion, success and celebration. Discover it now and stick to it.
