Marriage can be very great; it can be just good, and it can be very poor. It is not marriage itself that decides what it will be, but the people in it.

- A PLACE OF COMPANIONSHIP
“And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18 KJV
It’s a place of sharing and caring, a place of unity and love.
- A PLACE OF REST
“Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?” Ruth 3:1 KJV
A great marriage is a place of rest and peace
- A PLACE OF JOY
“Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 9:9 KJV
It’s also a place of joy and happiness. The home is supposed to be a place to bring us joy in the world of turbulence.

“And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;” Isaiah 32:18
A great marriage is programmed by God to be a peaceable habitation. Where peace reigns with total tranquillity.
