Character is very important to the life, marriage, destiny, career, job, relationship, future and well-being of every individual.
Your character is the total sum of you; it is the total sum of your emotion and intellectual make up. It can make or mar, it can mould or break, it is the spiritual essence of who we are a human being, character is what makes you. Character is defined as the set of qualities that make someone or something different from others. It is your moral strength that helps you to choose what is right even when that choice could cause you difficulties and even no one is watching you or know what you are doing.
It is the self-government an abilities to rule your desire and lusts, even your needs is what character is all about. It is also the sum of qualities you develop throughout your life as you make choices about how to speak, live act, and react to situations and people around you. Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent without moral discipline. Spiritually, we can defined character simply as the total sum of how far you have allow Holy Spirit to work on you or the whole end point or product of how freely you’ve allowed the works of the flesh to be manifested in you. (Galatians 5:19-23).
This is true because when the Holy Spirit is allow to yield his fruit in us, people around us will see us as reliable, dependable, honest, peace, loving, credible and somebody of impeccable character. On the other hands, when the work of the flesh is allowed to manifest in us we end up been one of the worst person to associate with and people will prefer staying away from us.
In marriage, our character affects our partners as they have to learn how to live with our character not our gift, charisma, beauty, knowledge not even our love. Character is very important in marriage. It determines its success or failure. You don’t need any demon to destroy the marriage of a proud and arrogant husband and his stubborn and cocky wife, what will destroy their marriage is inherent in them.
Character affects every part of your relationship with your spouse; it is at home with you every day of your marital life. It doesn’t go on vacation, it affects everything you do and determine the way you do things in your home or outside of it.
