Major Duties Of Pastor’s Wives Pt 1

As the pastor’s wife in that church, you have lots of roles to play in the church. You cannot afford to fail God, who love you much and appointed you to be the wife of this great man of God. You need to take your time to study what God want you to do and do them in such a way that God will appreciate and glorify you.
1. Have Personal Encounter With The Lord. Don’t just be a woman of God; be a child of God, you must be genuinely born again, living for God, walking on the narrow path for the rest of your life. Your personal encounter with God will make this job easier for you. You can’t afford to be lukewarm or cold, you must be hot for God.
2. Serve God. Don’t just be born again, serve God, don’t just serve God because your husband is the pastor, No! serve God because you love God and you expect your reward from Him. Serve God as a duty, do not allow anybody to force you, join the workforce, the Lord’s army. Be diligently committed to the service of your father.
3. Become a Prayer Warrior. Be on the firing line, be the arrow head, pray for your husband, children, work on the ministry, etc. if nobody is committed to praying for your husband; you must not take it lightly. When the work of the ministry of your husband is progressing, pray; If it is not, pray. When your husband is hot for God, pray; when he is not pray, you must be his last time of defense. You must be the gate keeper; you must never allow enemies to enter your camp. You must defend, you must protect, you must fight and you must conquer, GOD IS COUNTING ON YOU.
4. Take Good Care Of The Home Front. Home front is the real front of your ministry. Don’t joke with it, don’t ever allow the enemy to take the advantages of your husband’s business to take over in your home. Take good care of your children; raise them in the way of the Lord. Teach, guide, command, instruct, rebuke, correct and train them. BE A GREAT MOTHER.
