Psalm 127:3-5 KJV
[3] Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord : and the fruit of the womb is his reward. [4] As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. [5] Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
(1) They are the heritage of The Lord
Every parent should know that our children are God’s property put in our custody based on trust, we must be faithful in discharging our responsibilities on behalf of God to make these children comfortable
(2) They are to be trained in the way of The Lord
Train your children in the way of The Lord not in the way of the world, raise them by inculcating spiritual virtues in them, when they are rooted in God, the wind of peer pressure, negative influence of media and environmental pollution will not be strong enough to blow them away.
Proverbs 22:6 KJV
[6] Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
(3) They are to be nurtured
Provide for your children, never allow them to start vending for themselves at tender age, please give them adequate nourishment that can make them grow mentally and physically. Don’t just commit their lives into the hands of your maids or any available hands around because of their stress in quote or because you are busy
(4) They need protection
Many predators are all over the places, looking for who they might devour, never allow your children to become victims of their tricks and traps. Monitor their friendship and relationships with neighbors, close family members, your domestic staff, drivers, security guards, colleagues, your own friends, all these people around could be stirred up by devil to molest any child who is left carelessly.
(5) They are blessings from God
Your children are blessings from God to your family, do not see that as a cross you have to carry, especially if there is any of them who is yet to be modeled the way you really want an obedient child should behave, never lose hope, God will touch that child and put smile on your face again, that very child will make you proud.
(6) They need Love and time
Children thrive in a loving environment, let us demonstrate enough love that will convince them that we are their parents, most times they doubt your status as their parents, they need that genuine love not only when they behave well even when they do not measure up to your expectations from them. Spend quality time to attend to your children, their emotional need is key to their being. They need beyond your money, they want you to come to their level
(7) They need quality Education
Please make every effort to send them to good schools that will give them quality educational foundation needed to make them who The Lord want them to be.
Good background will package your children for their purpose on earth and make them responsible in the future. Do not concentrate only on spending for yourself, they need you to spend your resources on them for quality education.
(8) They need our prayer
Pray your children into success, they need more of your deep positive wishes rather than numerous complains. Many things you have to settle on your knee, you can determine destiny of your children on the altar of prayer. At that point, you commune with God to pour out your mind.
(9) They need Discipline
Parents need both fairness and firmness to raise their children, there must not be over pampering or too much harshness, there must be a balance of these tools in order to raise proper child. Discipline should not result into injury, PUNISHMENT should be a CORRECTIVE TOOL not a DESTRUCTIVE TOOL for any child.

(10) They are the future
Our children are the future of parents, at old age the only glory you would boast about is the achievement of your children, to get to this point, we need to model their lives, live as good example, train them up, teach them house chores, teach about money management, teach them s*x education, encourage them at their low moments even when it appears they have disappointed us, we need to package them to become responsible adults, these and many more are. God’s expectations from us as we raise them is to bring up a child without blemish.

I pray for fruitfulness for all waiting mothers
