MAKING HOME HABITABLE

For you to enjoy the fullness of peace in your marriage, you are expected to make the home habitable for your hubby. It is imperative to make sure that the house is kept clean always. As a terrific house wife, makes sure the bed spread are clean and the chairs are well set. Let your husband be happy to be at home. Whenever he is likely to have some visitors, make sure that house is not dirty and every where is looking tidy.

Many wives have neglected this aspect of their responsibility on daily basis. For instance, I was in the house of a friend years back, it took the wife and the children about five minutes to get the living room tidy; for all the living room was put in disarray. The whole house were littered with cloths and dirt. The house was so dirty and untidy; one would wonder whether it is a house or a prison yard.

As a terrific housewife, do not take your home for granted, never fail to put your house in order. No man will love to return to a house that looks rough. No man will be happy that his house is put in disorder and untidy. Therefore, there is a need for all dirt to be removed, all cloths washed and keep the toilet flushed.

You cannot be called a great woman if you do not keep a great, clean and presentable home and environment. See your house as part of you; it is your own ministry and your office. Defend it, protect it, put it in order, it will be to your glory and honour.
