There is no doubt about the fact that heartbreak is awful. It is just like recovering from grief because you have lost something and someone precious to you to another person not even death. You will still be seeing the person but with another and no longer you. The relationship was great while it lasted but then you just can’t get pass it. Here are some healthy tips as you heal;

  1. FOCUS ON YOURSELF FIRST – it is hard to heal when you are still questioning yourself, how it all happened, while it had to end that way, what you have done wrong and the likes. Healing won’t come while you do all that
  2. MAKE A CHOICE & EVALUATE YOURSELF – you need to make a serious but helpful choice of moving on. You can evaluate yourself here to know what you need to change or things you need to do in order to get better
  3. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH GOOD PEOPLE – make sure you are not alone. Always be in the company of your friends and families whose shoulders you can lean on if need be
  4. KNOW THAT PEOPLE COME INTO OUR LIVES FOR A REASON – the good thing in life that helps with healing, in this case, is to always remember that there is a reason why certain people came into your life at a particular time. If the reason for their existence with you is over, the, let them go!
  5. FOCUS ON THE PRESENTDONT HOLD ON THE FEELINGS OF ANGER, RESENTMENT & HATRED – these three emotions are killers of joy and they don’t do any good to the soul. All they do is to hold you bound and prevent your healing process. Don’t allow any of them to get hold of your thought. Let go and truly forgive even if you feel you were cheated or treated badly.
  6. NEVER THINK OF REVENGE – you don’t need this for anything. Just let go and concentrate on yourself.
  7. LOVE YOURSELF – this is a good time to truly and genuinely love yourself and see yourself as your creator sees you. You are the best of your kind, smart, beautiful, gorgeous and no one can be like you. Appreciate the person you have become now and love the new real you.
  8. IT WILLGO AWAY –you must have this in mind that, it is a phase in your learning process which could be hard but it will surely pass.
  9. LET GO OF THINGS THAT CAN REMIND YOU OF THE PERSON – it will do you a world of good to do away with objects, materials and any other thing that can remind you of the person which will, in turn, bring back their memory.
  10. GET HELP – finally, look for a Counselor or a Psychotherapist who can work with you for better and quick recovery.
